This Privacy Policy explains how Connector Kit Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes information through the Customer Location tool (“Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

1. Who We Are

Connector Kit Limited is registered in England and Wales at Suite 6498, Unit 3A, 34-35 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8DX. We act as the data controller for account information you provide when signing up to use the Service. For data synced from your Klaviyo account, you remain the controller—we act only as a processor on your behalf.

2. Data We Process

The Service processes limited customer information from your Klaviyo account solely to calculate and assign the nearest store. Specifically, we may process:

  • Customer address fields from profiles or events (e.g. shipping address).
  • Store location data you provide (manual entry or CSV import).
  • Account details required to connect to Klaviyo (OAuth tokens).
  • Billing details provided for subscription payments (processed via Stripe).

We do not permanently store your customers’ personal data (PII). Address data is processed only to calculate proximity and the result is written back to Klaviyo. Your customer records remain in Klaviyo at all times.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data described above only to provide and improve the Service, including:

  • Assigning customers to their nearest store or branch.
  • Enriching profiles with store data for segmentation and personalisation.
  • Triggering automations and flows in Klaviyo.
  • Processing subscription payments securely via Stripe.
  • Logging sync history for transparency and troubleshooting.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

4. Data Security

We use encryption and secure protocols to protect data in transit and at rest. API keys and tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically. Stripe handles all payment card information directly; we do not store full card details on our systems.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information (e.g. your login, connected Klaviyo accounts, subscription history, and location data you provide) only for as long as your account is active. Synced customer data is not stored by us—only processed and written back to Klaviyo. If you delete your account, associated tokens, billing details, and configuration data are removed from our systems.

6. Third-Party Services

Customer Location relies on:

  • Klaviyo – for profile and event data access, and for writing enriched results back.
  • Google Maps API – for address validation and geocoding.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you (account and billing data).
  • Request correction or deletion of your account data.
  • Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Request portability of your account data.

For customer records processed via Klaviyo, you remain the controller and are responsible for fulfilling data subject requests. We will support you in meeting those obligations where relevant.

8. Legal Basis

Our lawful basis for processing account and billing data is the performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). For processing customer address data via Klaviyo, we act as a processor under your instructions.

9. International Data Transfers

If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA (e.g. via Klaviyo, Google Maps, or Stripe), it is protected through appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page. Significant changes will be communicated via the Service or by email where appropriate.
